With Easter fast approaching, the House Rabbit Society and the Make Mine Chocolate campaign are spreading the word that rabbits are not gifts. They are not "easy" or "low maintenance" pets and they should not be "released" into the wild when you are no longer interested in them. Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment and unless you are prepared to become a bunny slave, buy a chocolate rabbit!

I love that one-ear pose!
Exclamation point! Well said .. spread the word ...
Well said, Patch!
Not low maintenance, truer word was never said. Even if one is blessed with a rabbit that has no health problems we are constantly trying to find new ways to please and serve said rabbit better :~) !!!!!!!!!!
Erin, regarding the bunny video, just let me know if I can take photos from your blog or if you'd prefer to select something yourself and send it.
Truly. Because a chocolate bunny will not chew your baseboards or doot on your floors or tear up a rug. On the other hand, the chocolate bunny will never binky, but that's a secret that only bunny owners know....
Cape in August--much warmer and more fun, although it is nice to be able to get a parking space now!
And if you are a cut out to be a bunny slave, get yourself a chocolate rabbit to enjoy, too!
