Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month!

February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month! Both Pumpkin and Patch are rescued rabbits. Miss Pumpkin came from a local shelter called Lollypop Farm and Mr. Patch came from the Upstate New York Chapter of the House Rabbit Society.

If you are thinking of adding a new family member to your zoo, consider a rabbit! Rabbits make great pets, but make sure you do your research to make sure a rabbit is the right pet for you.

Happy February!

The Spots are rescues. We got Tyler then three months later no one had adopted Sydney and we felt bad because she was the last of the litter and she was languishing..... So she joined Tyler.......everybun seems happy.

We don't have rabbit rescues here. Cats and dogs mostly occupy the shelters here. Sometimes, we hear of rabbits being 'set free'.. I just wish those thick-headed people would at least have the decency to drop off their rabbits at shelters instead of setting them loose anywhere they like! Makes me so mad!

I hope as many rescued rabbits as possible find their forever homes.
