So we didn't end up bringing home the new bunny.  The day care decided to keep him there for a while longer.  We told them to let us know if they ever change their minds!  He is a really sweet rabbit.

But we did find a great way to help Pumpkin get some exercise!  Check it out:



Being chased by a baby seems to keep her on the move!  (notice Guinevere just lays there watching until Penny tries to touch her!)

I found a way to entertain Penny and Guinevere at the same time!

4 Months

 Penny is 4 months old already!  It's so hard to believe.  These last few months have flown by but it also feels like she has always been part of our lives.  We finally feel like we have a baby now, not a newborn.  She is vocal, she smiles, she rolls over, she is interactive and so happy!  She just discovered her feet and they are the most interesting thing in the whole world right now.  She absolutely loves all the animals too and watches them constantly.  They are all so good with her, so gentle and curious of the things she does.  We are thrilled that she has blended so nicely into our little zoo.  Here are a few shots from our 4 month photo shoot.  I'm looking forward to celebrating my first mother's day this weekend!  Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there!  Even if your baby is a furry one:)

Time is starting to fly by now! I'm back to work now so life is hectic, but here is a couple pictures of our favorite 3 month old, including one from Easter!

My sister-in-law had her baby 10 days after Penny was born on 1/19/11 - Ryan Edward. We got the babies together so the cousins could meet for the first time. My parents were here for a week and got to spend lots of time with both babies and were just over joyed to get both of them together!

Penelope Darlene arrived on 1/9/12 weighing 7 lbs 2 oz, 21 inches long. She is an absolute joy of of a baby and we're so thrilled that she is finally here! Andy and I are both exhausted, obviously, but we survived the first week of parenthood so far:) More later...

Baby Shower

So not only are we having a baby, but my brother and sister-in-law are expecting their first baby too! And her due date is a week after mine! (Needless to say, my parents are thrilled beyond belief!) My mom threw us a joint baby shower last week. It was so much fun, but also exhausting for me! I haven't been so tired in a long time! Here are some pics...

The Zoo is expanding and so am I

So I have a good reason for being so MIA lately...



We're having a baby! And it's a girl! She is due January 6th and we can't wait to meet her! I was really sick the first couple months, but now I'm feeling better and getting big. Baby is kicking a lot and very healthy. We have started to put the nursery together and I can't wait to show it to you, but I'm going to keep the theme a secret for now, but I have a feeling you'll like it... :)
